summer nights

friday evening, we ate supper in grandma's backyard. everyone pitched in together to get supper ready. most of the boys played ultimate frisbee across the road while the girls visited on the back porch. the kids played some outdoor games like red light/green light, duck duck goose, and some jumping and running games. after it got dark, everyone moved into the living room and we played "murder" one of our favorite games to play with a large group. everyone really seemed to enjoy it. i actually think i missed some of the better moments of the game b/c i laid down with the kids in grandma's room and put us all to sleep in the process. so for those who "outplayed & outlasted" me, i'd love to hear some of the stories from that night!
