downtown mt. airy

friday morning we went downtown and saw some of the famous sights--floyd's barber shop & snappy lunch. most everyone got their pictures taken in the chair at floyds & then grandma treated us all to an old fashioned southern lunch at snappy lunch. the employees there were gracious to work with our large group, making it possible for us all to be together. most everyone enjoyed either a groundsteak sandwich or a porkchop sandwich--signature dishes of theirs. we also saw a few sights around town (including opie's candy shop, which was a highlight) before calling it a day.
