this morning elise was laying (or is it lying?) in the bed and ian, being the typical little brother that he is decided that he would climb up there and stand right in front of her. elise was annoyed by this and it showed. to which ian responded by getting even closer and annoying her even more. (hard to fathom, i know...=) i thought i would die laughing as elise in a very firm, loud, commanding voice said to ian, "Get Out My Way!" as ian continued to hold his ground, elise became more and more agitated, repeating louder and more frequently, "GET OUT MY WAY!" pretty quickly there we interceded and smoothed things over, but, ah, the joys of siblings....

I remember well, the "Mama, he's looking at me. Make him stop looking at me!" as we were in church and Ethan found that button to push. He enjoyed the reaction of you trying to look straight ahead and not be bothered, but he knew he was striking a nerve.
It is cute (in a way) to see the interactions as kids figure out what they can do and what the reactions are.
thats too funny! your kids are too cute kristen! speaking of annoying, logan has found that by repreating observations of others (ex-> Mom: Logan your room is dirty. Go clean it. Logan: You know, my room is dirty, i should probably go clean it!) he can annoy the fraz of people! but oh well, its been fun (kind of)! maybe ill teach ian and elise a few special "annoying your siblings" tricks! i mean, if you really want me to...lol
thanks for reminding me that i have many more years of this to look forward too. =) actually, i think its cute too, and it brings back so many memories of me & ethan! and puh-leeeze don't teach them anything! heaven knows they learn it quick enough on their own!
