elise just celebrated her birthday. and what a great time we had! she got to open presents, and we went and ate ice cream & all kinds of good stuff. i think she had a really nice day.

I still can't believe Elise is 5! When did that happen?! It seems like only yesterday she was a baby! She is such a sweet and good little girl!
i know. somehow "5" seems so much more grown up than 4. i've loved her at each age and this one is no exception. i think its just hard to realize that she will never do those "baby" things or "little girl" things that i loved at the other ages again. but its too sad to think of that, so i'm just trying to think about the wonderful things about being 5!
All I have to say is Happy Birthday Elise!
