hugs

ian had been sleeping and woke up a little snuggly & grumpy. i had been sitting with him, but eventually had to go start supper. when i walked back over to check on the kids, this is what i saw over the back of the couch. at first i thought ian must be asleep, but he wasn't. he was just resting on elise, who was more than happy to be the big sister. and she was even sharing her grapes!

My older siblings beat me up - and I beat up my younger siblings.

i have to admit, i didn't do a lot of beating up, but i was a bossy big sister....actually, i still am!

I think your advice and counsel is requested and much sought after in this family and very much appreciated!

that was so sweet! thanks. i've always felt not only like the "bossy big sis"--which i am--but i've always felt really protective of my family.

That's a good way to put it and it's comforting that we feel protective of one another.
