just a cute "elise-ism". elise always has to have a white or off-white towel to dry off with after her bath. only she doesn't call them white towels. they are her "vanilla" towels. last night i made the mistake of holding up a navy one for her to use. she was quick to let me know that she would need a vanilla one before she could get out!

Halle went through a phase were anything exciting or pretty was "a happy cake"...as in a happy birthday cake. For about a year, every time we would put her pink hooded towel on her after her bath she would giggle with delight and yell with much inflection "A Happy Cake". It was so cute. I miss it.
that's adorable!!! i love those little phrases and words that aren't exactly right. (like elise telling me i'm so "indorable") i never want to correct them!
